3rd Thursday Orlando

3rd Thursday Orlando is a free event open to the general public each month on the third Thursday from 4:30 -9:00 p.m. Guests will experience art, music, live performance and more. DTO LIVE! brings downtown to life with more art on 3rd Thursday.

During 3rd Thursday Orlando, Magnolia Avenue and Heritage Square in front of the Orange County Regional History Center are activated with art vendors, live music and performances. The event has been expanded with DTO LIVE!, a partnership with the Downtown Development Board, United Arts of Central Florida and Creative City Project. In addition to the outdoors activations, guest will enjoy Vacant to Vibrant storefront art installations by local artists and a Creative City Project Art installation!

The event is anchored by CityArts Orlando with six galleries and a Cafe. Each 3rd Thursday, new exhibit openings take place and the artists are available to meet with, and the Orange County Regional History Center is open free of charge throughout the evening. Curated talks are programmed with different themes. On the block, local pubs offer happy hour specials through the night.

There’s often an art installation called ArtCube (think inside the box) at the Parramore neighborhood site of Interstruct Design + Build Firm (a shuttle bus is available to ride).
