In many ways, the Electric Daisy Carnival embodies the culture of Orlando, a place that is diverse, expressive, inclusive and active towards designing the future. We’re not your traditional deep rooted cultural city that’s grounded in its ways. We’re young and old, vibrant and thoughtful, different and the same. We’re a collision of cultural traditions and where ideas come to play.
EDC Orlando is a 3 day annual event that’s a beacon of positivity, crafting unforgettable experiences infused with imagination and transformative moments through music, art and technology. Rooted in love, every aspect of the event felt intentional in creating spaces for connection, both on and off the dance floor.
From awe-inspiring stages to boundary-breaking creativity, you felt immersed in the culture of relentless innovation and an experience that was truly extraordinary.
Organized by Insomniac, EDC is the largest electronic dance music festival in North America and first came to Orlando in 2011. Orlando, the hub of immersive technology, welcomes the event with open arms, even with their chest thumping sounds permeating neighborhoods miles from the event itself till midnight each night.
This year, over 300,000 people over the course of 3 days, came out to express their individual creativity while absorbing the vibrating sounds of over 140 artists among 5 stages. While we won’t know the economic impact of EDC 2023 until Spring, the personal impact left us wanting more.
